On October 7th we will cook, eat and talk about all things goat and the small farms that raise them. Unlike conventional animal production where animals are birthed solely to promote lactation and then discarded, many small integrated farms have taken to raising kids throughout the summer for meat, providing needed cash flow for the farm and deliciousness for us. Angela Miller, owner of Consider Bardwell Farm and Erin Fairbanks of Heritage Foods, the coordinator of this regional effort will speak about the project over a four course meal prepared by Chef Shanna Pacifico.
