DSC_5393A Savoy tradition for many years, this is a walk around tasting of multiple interpretations of the great wintry dish from southwest France. Six chefs, six takes on pork and beans at its best, plenty of Cahors, winter greens and citrus sorbet to keep everyone’s palate’s refreshed and a roaring fire on the second floor. You’ll think you were at a country inn in Vermont instead of in Soho. This year’s participating chefs are Alex Raij of Txikito, Justin Smillie of Il Buco Alimentari*, Mike Laarhoven of Back Forty, Shanna Pacifico of Back Forty West, Seamus Mullen of Tertulia* and Matthew Rudofker of Momofuku*.  $65 for the meal and beverages with a portion of the proceeds being donated to New Amsterdam Market, the public market project for artisanal producers in the old Fulton Fish Market area.
