Located in the former home of Savoy—where Peter Hoffman’s pioneering farm-to-table ethics made him “a locavore before the word existed,” per the New York Times—Back Forty West features dishes that come out of our wood smoker such as jerk chicken wings, pulled pork Carolina style and upon special order suckling pig as well as serving our guests in a romantic dining room with a working fireplace.

We take reservations for parties of all sizes. For small parties, please call at 212.219.8570 and book a table. For parties of 6 or more, Back Forty West offers family style tasting menus served on large platters. We offer same day a la carte reservations for larger parties based on availability. We have farm tables that can accommodate up to 22 guests and our upstairs dining room can accommodate up to 45 guests. A party larger than 45 would require Back Forty West to close to the public for a private event. If you are interested in such an event, please call 212.219.8570 and speak with a manager.
